DAMN I screwed up. I KNEW about Hadestown the musical in NYC for years! I had been on the email distro and Facebook and could have bought pre-production ticket for goodness sake for $49 each.

Sheesh

Thinking of a good graduation gift for my graduating senior. Figured threw a nice party and the senior trip to Nashville for the one who graduated last year. Want to do something nice.

This child has no local friends. (Really..... a little socially challenged. She comes across as fake and self interested.... makes it hard to sustain friends. I hope in time her skills improve. A friend she made at gov school drove and hour and a half (or more ) to see her and as he left she was saying things like "YOU Must come again soon! " etc.... in this way that made me cringe as it was less gratitude and thanks and more almost attempting to induce guilt and seemed emotionally manipulative. As I heard that I thought she just assured he won't be back any time soon. She doesn't want my input-

I would suggest she ask me to drive her that way, meet somewhere convienient to HIM next time! His parents drove him here in past and they went off to lunch and enjoy the area.

But she is very abrasive with me currently. That ALSO Makes it hard ....
....

First I thought of Hamilton. We have an acqaintence of son's bestie in the touring show. Its in Baltimore soon...
Figured was still a little steep. Maybe could see Hadestown?

Cheapet tix are $200
Same as Hamitlon for me. Bummer though as it would be NICE to do this as family....

Maybe...

Maybe it is just worth putting this one on a credit card.

If decide to do that then question is Which show? There might not be Hamilton tix available even with connection so that might be out....

Will see.

I do think it best idea for her graduation gift if I can do it.
