Lord give me patience

Maybe not so bad

I swear I rarely get angry

BUT I get angry at scam artists

Give me patience that if I ever get a real bonafide, not scam artist but just a person trying to do good work in the world

that I am not exceptionally rude to them.

I shut down a conversation I thought was a scammer...spam... bad vibe

BUT give grace if it was not and just some person doing their job.

I don't think I was that rude...
Just curt.

Said "Not relevant to the services I provide; if you are pitching a service to me send me an email"

Then I hung up on them.

I think they are likely a scammer
and that gets me nervous.

The crap of folks recording voices then taking some spoken YES and adding it to fake recorded service agreements is the scam I am most afraid of.

I HAVE to have a business phone number.
One of those catch 22s

But I get anxious on so few occassions-

Loud Italian's being abusive...

and talking on phone to stragners when don't trust what the hell they are calling me for.

OH-

and when working at the old folks homes and see the guy come in I SWEAR is as my mom used to say "UP TO NO GOOD"
asking questions that are none of his business about an old lady he is befriending

then he comes bringing flowers to a couple old folks...

BUT The first person he was there to visit died

and he is not family
and they were strangers

And he seems interested in visiting strangers that have no family

And he talks a game of love of God and his church etc....

but it seems more perfomative

a little too preachy

I mean to be real. I get real. I respect the pastors from local churches that come in

but he is not affiliated..

I swear a speculator

Looking to game some old person....

BUT I can't stop a visitor that signs into a facility and says they are there for a visit in this very large place.

I just watch him and he gives me the eeby jeebies and I can't go out of the bounds of what is acceptable in my job

LIKE Look up his name and the land records and see if there happen to be any recent "gifts" of land in this county to his name-
or run a check and find out what real estate investment company he works for....

OK VENT DONE

I just get such a bad feeling and feel like that dude, who came in last weekend I think at the nursing home....
is a con artist.

There is no financial info available in the rooms or with the nurses or with anyone other than business office and social workers and family so hope there is no way he can take advantage of the folks he is so "kindly" as he acts "being led to visit and bring to God."

OH but on the phone it is harder. And hope the person I hung up on just now-
annoyed moreso that the phone interrupted my flow.

( I know I shjould hand up and not write) BUT still....

IN GOOD NEWS I am loving working on my porch but also a little annoyed I had some of my own kinda admin type of work to do,
and then also got a message from the eye Dr. they can't find my eye insurance policy-

and I KNOW I bought one. I did not USE it yet this year-
and I can't find the info on it either.

It was a rider sold by Delta Dental. I can't even find that plan or what email address I used- etc...

HAVE details here SOMEWHERE in my emails for sure.

Have record of monthly payments.

They say "Just tell the Eye dr. you have VSP"

VSP is a decent plan. I had it before, and knew this is how it works.
Delta Dental same-
so I went to the dentist and they found the dental piece. My one kid and I got teeth cleaned and we both had cavities filled this year.
I did not have to carry a card or anything. So I trusted the VPS would work as well. Bummer that the eye Dr. notified me they are not seeing my insurance.

If not found I will still pay the $80 for the eye dr.
I need to as I am feeling fatigue in my left eye, and sometimes a throbbing- and the last time I had an exam the eye dr said she saw what looked like very early mascular degeneration. She told me to wear sunglasses and rest my eyes.

I have an eye dr appointment tomorrow morning so have to chase this information down.

Was trying to get work done for a client.
Well- will focus on that in a bit.

BUT first-
back to searching for evidence of the purchased vision plan and its details.
I know I am paying for one!
