2024-09-08 - 4:09 p.m. I really prided myself on my stellar skills at checking out colleges by ditching the really boring planned tours where the paid admission office work study students who don't really share much other than scripted marketing pitch, so hard to get a real sense of a college much, and instead visited nd chatted more informally with students to get their actual reviews, but most importantly rating prospective colleges on their cafeteria food and checking out actual freshmen year dorms. I mean quality of life matters. I just chilled after church and before a vet appointment. Bellatrix is fine. She just had some either allergic reaction to new food or other thing that I think resolved itself. However late Friday night around 11pm there was some blood in her stool so I am taking her into the vet to follow up on that, just in case there is anything mote serious wrong.
Lol Only a TV show but man, that outdoes my Cafeteria food rating!
Ha ha
I am surprised at how much take out young people get now ( I see it at one job a good amount, where young working CNAs and med techs order food). Good for them. Self care and good food are important. That Cafeteria food sucks at that location. I was just too cheap really most of my life to consider eating out much, let alone even think of ordering in. We just never ordered delivery ever, and I mean ever, growing up so did not know it was even a thing until others ordered pizza at college. I fell into the trap of convenience myself of late by ordering Door Dash and need to not let it be a habit. ( But really the bad food at the one workplace got me sucked in too! I try to eat before work but do not always find time , or rather don't always plan well and sometimes just so hungry get tempted to order door dash. When single I get it , as it is harder to cook for just one person!! Or two frankly also a bit harder to cook for than a group. Cooking for a larger family is actually easier in a way. Off to the vet now, Aside... |
