I have my work for self hat on today.

Looking at opportunities.

I kinda get excited when I see calls for work that I know someone who would rock them.

The thing is, in the federal space there are these RIDICULOUSLY short lead times from when a Request for Proposal drops and then when it is due.

It's truly ludicrous.

A RFP drops on a Thursday and is due 6 days later.

Its the stupidest work culture

Especially dumb as gov offices are strictly 8-4

Don't do us in the private commercial sector dirty like that...
Its such a power move.

Anyway... oops burned my popcorn. I bought a box of 12 microwave ( which I know are bad for your health. YEAH read about it... whatever.. I used to use the pot all the time for homemade. But when working .... well it takes longer. I just want to not interrupt flow TOO much- but for the small complaint of the ridiculousness of RFP drops on Thu or Fri due Mon or Tue the next week.

The microwave at my fiance's home must not be as strong as the one here at my home. I am there more than here, and brought half the box there and left the other half of the bags here.

I realized at about one minute and 50 seconds I was no longer hearing popping. At his house the bag is done at 2 min 25 secs.

Not awful... just a little burned.

OK back to work. I am having fun pitching ideas. Some to client for them to have themselves; (Cause they are up their ally) ; some for my own business- pitching idea to collab with potential partners - those I know rock a certain thing that I know I could project and contract manage and get THEM good , valuable work they might love.

Its fun! To try to find work for others.
